1988 – 16hh Black Pure Bred Trakehner
Excelsior Lutzeena (Lizzie) came to us from Blackmores Park Stud in Clunes in Victoria. Lizzie is a very important foundation mare for our stud bringing with her well performed old bloodlines. She is now close to 30 but has produced a lovely filly to preserve her fantastic bloodlines.
Lizzie was progressing in her successful dressage career before a paddock accident caused her to become a broodmare. She is by the superb dressage stallion Lutz out of Excelsior Azel, by Benito out of Ariadne.
Lizzie was classified by the German Verband in March 2010 and was entered into “Studbook One” in Germany.
